General Questions

Navigating the ins and outs of dumpster rentals can bring up a host of questions, from the basics of bin selection to the specifics of scheduling and use. Whether you're a first-time renter or a seasoned pro, our comprehensive FAQ is designed to clarify any queries you might have, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience

01

How do I schedule a dumpster with Big Orange Roll Offs?

You can easily schedule your dumpster rental online! Simply head to our dumpster rentals page here, or, feel free to give us a call. Our knowledgeable staff will help you select the right dumpster for your needs and timeframe.

02

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Discover, Google Pay, Paypal, Paypal Credit, Venmo, and Cash App, cash and checks. *We do require payment before the delivery of the dumpster.*

03

What items am I not allowed to put in the dumpster?

We do not accept any hazardous materials, including but not limited to motor oil, weapons, tires, sealed tanks/drums, chemicals, propane tanks, paint, batteries, pesticides and refrigerators and A/C units (unless the freon has been properly evacuated and compressors have been removed). If you have any of these items, please reach out to our team and we will be glad to discuss the options for disposal with you!

04

What are the charges for exceeding the included weight limit of the dumpster?

2 tons (4,000 pounds) of disposal weight are included in all of our dumpster rentals. For typical household and small construction/remodel projects, this included amount should be sufficient to exclude any additional fees. However, should you exceed the 2 ton threshold, an additional charge $0.04 per pound of additional weight will be billed to you. This means that you only pay for what you use and not a penny more!

05

Do I need to be present during the delivery or pick up of the dumpster?

No. If we have a clear idea of where you would like for us to set the dumpster for you, there is no need for you to be present. Any special instructions for your scheduled delivery (such as dumpster placement, hazards to be aware of, etc.) should be noted during the checkout process. Please be sure that the drop off area is clear and accessible.

Junk Removal Questions

How much does junk removal cost?

Cost depends on how much space your items take up in the truck, location of the job itself, disposal fees and other factors. Each booking is tailored to your specific project.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We will always come to look at your project for free and provide you with an estimate. We do not quote jobs over the phone or via pictures.

What items can Big Orange haul away?

If you want it gone, chances are, we can make it go away. From whole home demolition, shed and hot tub removal, to old couches and furniture taking up space in the garage, we’ve got you covered.

Do you throw all of my stuff away?

Only the items that are no longer usable. We make every effort to donate any items that still have some life left in them to members of our community that are in need.
